Pontoon Is Like A Coaster
Tuesday, 9. March 2010
Twenty-One is a game that reminds me a little of a rollercoaster. It is a casino game that begins slow but gradually gets quicker. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel like you’re getting to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t anticipate it, the bottom drops out.
Twenty-One is so much like a coaster the commonalities are frightening. As with the well-liked fairground ride, your pontoon game will peak and everything will be going fine for a while before it drops down yet again. You’ve got to be a player that can adjust well to the ups and downs of the casino game because the casino game of black jack is full of them.
If you like the small rollercoaster, one that does not go too high or fast, then bet low. If you discover the only way you can appreciate the ride is with a larger bet, then jump on board for the ride of your life on the colossal rollercoaster. The whale will really like the sights from the enormous coaster because they aren’t thinking about the drop as they speed head first to the top of the game.
A win target and a loss limit works well in chemin de fer, but very few gamblers stick to it. In twenty-one, if you "get on the coaster" as it is going up, that is terrific, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you’d best better get out quickly
If you don’t, you won’t remember how much you appreciated the view while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you’ll recall is a tonne of uncertainties, a thrilling ride and your head in the sky. As you’re thinking on "what might have beens" you will not recall how "high up" you were but you will remember that devastating drop as clear as day.
Pontoon can be an extremely beatable game. It is a casino game of highs, a game of lows and where it will stops is totally up to you and how well you can calculate whether to jump off the rollercoaster or continue the ride.
