My Gambling Den Vingt-et-un Type Game
Saturday, 14. November 2009
I have gambled on countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
