I have wagered on countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this method or beat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Take $5 paid to you, leave the original five dollar bet

Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10

Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager

Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet

Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet

Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first $80 wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first $160 wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
