I have gambled on millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original sum.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager

Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet

Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40

Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
